Heat Wave

I went away for a few days, and came back to a heat wave, not knowing what I'd find in the garden when I returned. I did find more ripe tomatoes:
lunch!More bloomin' daylilies:
And Black-eyed Susans:
Crinum buds:
And the bumble bees going crazy over the chaste tree:
It's very hot and dry, but life goes on.
